the university hostel

The University of Energy and Natural Resources currently has two students’ residential facility namely; GETfund Hostel and New Hostel. All the two hostels are mixed (Male and Female) 

The hostels offer a serene atmosphere for learning and are close to the main campus offering students the opportunity to attend lectures on time.   

The university runs an In-Out-Out-Out accommodation system for their hostel. The university offer accommodation for first-year students but it is on a first-come, first-served basis, meaning you have to be very quick during the application process for the hostel accommodation at the university.

Facilities include (TV) rooms, basketball court, volleyball court, salon, and supermarket.

Application Procedure

  1. Login with your reference number (refer to your admission letter for the reference number)
  2. Click on the Book Hostel of your preferred hostel and you will receive a notification when the booking is successful.
  3. Make payment within five working days only when your booking is successful to secure your accommodation
  4. You can keep visiting this site to check your Booking status after payment.

Please note: Do not pay academic and residential fees together. Pay for the hostel you have booked. Contact 0202440507 for more info.

Rules & Regulations

  1. All students offered accommodation must, on arrival, sign a Residence Book.
  2. All students offered accommodation must read and sign a tenancy agreement before moving to their respective rooms.
  3. A student who is offered Hostel accommodation but decides to stay off-campus must inform, in writing, the Hostel Manager of his/her decline of the offer.
  4. No student shall, under any condition or circumstance, either transfer his/her Hostel accommodation to any other student or accept such an illegal offer.
  5. Any student who breaches the rule shall either pay a fine or lose his/her residential status.
